Asteroids is a space-themed expansion for The Quest HD, which can be played as a standalone game or plugged into the base game. It’s a lower level scenario, they recommend being at least Level 4 to play, so if you have a party that’s been playing through the last few The Quest expansions you may find it a bit easy.
There are a lot of new graphics for this expansion, it really looks like a very different, alien world compared to other scenarios. And as usual there’s a megaload of quests! It might be worth keeping notes as to what game area/dungeon is accessed from where, because it can get a bit complex.
Your ship has run off course. You find yourself sucked into a black hole that warps you far away. The world you know so well is gone. It’s as though there were a huge explosion. All around you asteroids appear on fire. You feel great pain and pass out. You wake up in a strange room with an unearthly creature looking down on you. You sense the beginning of a great adventure but will you ever be able to get home?
